Have you ever adopted a great new success habit?
Reading more? Writing? Exercising? Developing marketing ideas in your business? Or something else?
Let me ask you:
Are you still doing it?
Everyone at some point can relate to quitting on a new habit.
But WHY did you stop?
I can tell you why in 6 words:
It - didn’t - make - you - feel - good.
Or something about it didn’t make you feel good.
That’s the sole reason.
Think about it – you’ll see that is why people quit great new success habits 99% of the time.
But here’s the thing:
IT IS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
It is just not good enough to quit on a new habit.
You don’t even give it a chance if you do this.
You let it down.
How would you feel if you start a new job and just 2 days in your new employer told you he was disappointed in you, that he’d expected you to be producing fantastic results ALREADY?!
You’d be shocked, right?!
It just doesn’t happen that quickly.
In fact, if anything you probably slow down the work place for the first week, stopping others doing their jobs by asking them questions, etc.
You need TIME.
Time to settle in. Time to figure out what’s what. Time to be effective and time to make a difference.
If your employer gives you that time, then you can become a GREAT employee.
“But Lee, what does this have to do with my success habits?”
Well, just as you can be a great EMPLOYEE given time…
You now need to be a great EMPLOYER!
YOU need to EMPLOY your new success habits.
And you need to GIVE them the tools they need to do their job - TIME.
And it’s giving your new habits the *Tool of Time* that will make YOU a GREAT employer.
And that’s why they will serve you well.
If they appear to slow you down and DISRUPT things at first – WAIT! Don’t quit.
Give them time to settle in. Time to figure out what’s what. Time to be effective and time to make a difference.
The Habits are doing their job.
Give those new habits a chance and time to make a difference.
Because it only hurts you in the long run if you don’t.
Look after your ‘Staff’ (of habits).
Give them time to grow.
Help them to develop.
And your ‘Business’ (of life) will thrive.
RECRUIT and EMPLOY a Success Habit today ;)

A Recipe For A Lovely Day!
Do you keep starting work on a goal, resolution or project - and then quit?
That's not a good recipe for success.
Don't get me wrong, I've been there and done it too. We all have.
It can be hard to stay excited, enthusiastic, motivated and focused when you're working on your goals.
But here's the thing...
If you're going to achieve your goals and reach your true potential you have to find SOMETHING to keep you going, moving forwards.
Too often, people start off well with great intentions and then this happens...
They get to work, hit the first hurdle and imagine this is how it's going to be. So their focus goes from their goal to the hurdle, and the hurdle is all they see in their future.
It's no wonder they get frustrated! They feel sick to their stomach with self-doubt. So they quit.
That's not a good system to keep working with - it'll lead you nowhere!
You need to know how to MOVE BEYOND THAT REACTION and move into a state where you feel you want to press on with your goals' trajectory NO MATTER WHAT!
"Lee, I want to stay on track, please give me something here!"
OK, here's what you need to do.
You need to have a COMPELLING FUTURE.
What I call *A Recipe For A Lovely Day* (just like in the Paul McCartney song ;)
A vision for yourself and your life that absolutely COMPELS you to take action - no matter what!
And you need to have it READY at all times.
Practice it. Rehearse it. Try it on for size. Shape it. Adjust it. Make it GREAT.
Bring it into your mind now. SEE how it looks, HEAR how it sounds and FEEL how it feels.
It must be ingrained, imbedded into your very core!
Why?
Because then, even if you don't feel like overcoming an obstacle, you will be compelled to forge forwards, onwards towards your vision - it is THAT compelling!
You will find yourself forging forwards, onwards, towards that inevitability no matter what!
So where do you want to be personally, professionally, financially, etc?
It might not be absolutely clear right now, but at least start to get a sense of how you'd like you life to turn out. What would be compelling for you?
Make it so great for you that it compels you to START work on it today... CONTINUE on it tomorrow... and KEEP GOING each day after!
It's a big driver that will move you FAR BEYOND QUITTING and help you succeed.
Sounds great, right?
So create one!
